Probably all good

What you need to understand about the apocalypse is that you aren't Mad Max. You're part of the skull pyramid in the background.

RE: [Shadowrun / Blades in the Dark] Santa Muerte
Guys, really sorry to do this, but I'm looking at the amount of work I need to do before Wednesday and I see that I'm not going to be able to make it unless I dedicate an additional evening to it.

I've got a choice between the Monday and the Tuesday, and since that's a temporary campaign just for this summer, I feel like it's more fair to cancel for us than for them Sad

Massively sorry, but there is some good news - this is one of the last "OMG DEADLINE TOO TIGHT" issues I'll be working on for a while, so yay? :')

About an hour ago, the issue I was working on ridiculously many hours was finally finished.

Thankfully, I handed off the responsibility of actually running all the code to someone else, so today all I had to do was make sure things looked good.

But it worked, it's out the door, I'm freeeeee.

For now. But still. Yay! LOL

Given the options left after the gents above, I'll say #1 is the more interesting of the two. Not necessarily my pick, but I feel like we've done a lot of rice/chicken/curry combinations compared to the amount of burgers Grin

Also, veggies

RE: [Shadowrun / Blades in the Dark] Santa Muerte
gents, i realised something yesterday that in all honesty i should've realised weeks, perhaps months, ago.

Natas is heading off for a three week long climbing adventure from 12 aug. to (presumably) the weekend of 2 sept. i am so very envious, but alas, for several reasons, i can't go with her. the dogs'll be completely in my care and while she's away, i'll have zero backup for them. that's fine, but it does mean that the first thing i'll have to do after work is go home, let them out and feed them.

i figure that, assuming everything goes exactly according to plan every time, taking care of the dogs would mean that i'd arrive at robin's place about an hour later than normal, i.e. at about 19:45, though i fear that an ETA of 20:00 would not at all be out of the question.

the short and the long of it is that i can't justify coming over under these circumstances. i don't suppose you dudes'd be interested in moving the game to my place for the 14th, 21st and 28th?

edit: i meant to add that i realise that this might not even be a viable suggestion. i know robin works in amsterdam and jeroen does too, though further away from the city than may be practical. arik, it's dawned on me that i don't actually know where you're working! playing at my place'd mean y'all'd be subject to getting home afterwards at a time you'd feel comfortable with. consulting 9292, i see that if you catch tram 17 from the jan pieter heijestraat stop at 21:59, you'd arrive at hilversum station at 22:51.

at any rate, i wanted to run this up the flagpole and see who'd stick.

I'd be cool with that. Arik works near Amsterdam too, I think, but the how and the what depends on both Jeroen and Arik more than myself, as honestly, I'm pretty flexible when it comes to crap like this.

Thanks for suggesting this well in advance either way!

I'd have to check my work schedule for those weeks but I think I should able to do that. We could try it the one time and see how it goes.
