RE: Wednesday Anima
Last time you asked about some of the other guilds in the city. In alphabetical order, these are the 10 most famous ones.

Akaryu Company
Formed by a famous Ronin about 80 years ago. They are some 500 swordsmen strong, plus supporting members. Their officers all know a sword style unique to the company, invented by their founding master. Their logo is a red, oriental dragon and is famous even in other countries.

Ex Nihilo
Sort of a temp agency for adventurers. Freelancers can sign up and be reasonably sure of landing a few gigs in the future. Their strength lies in flexibility. Teams can be set up to custom fit their contractor's demands, quickly and even abroad. Where once there was nothing, now stand a hundred at your disposal. (Or so their marketing slogan goes.) Due to costs and the long-term unreliability of freelancers they are best used for ad hoc jobs and short term missions.

The Fire Brands
A group centered around roughly three score riflemen, weapons that are still uncommon in this part of the continent. Their gunpowder weapons make them expensive to hire but they do have a unique edge over their competitors (and most opponents).

Garden Tower
Not a real guild but more a group of meddlesome paladins and priests who operate from the nearby Highgarden Abbey. It's a well-known fact that people with genuine concerns can voice them to the monks who work at the abbey's belfry. If the cause is just, these people might take up their banner and help them. However, because they are not under any real contract, they will seek their own solutions to the perceived problems instead of necessarily doing what people asked them to do.

House Kagedo
This is a myth. There is no secret ninja clan operating in and around Hong Kua. Move along, nothing to see here.

Maelstrom's Privateers
This fun-loving bunch of privateers takes up contracts to escort merchant vessels or to directly hunt down pirates who would prey upon them. Their guild's headquarters is also their flag ship, a massive war galleon with three decks of cannons they call 'The Diplomacy'. Their drunken antics in Hong Kua's harbors are the stuff of legend and cause almost enough damage to make them as bad than the very pirates they're hunting.

The Paragons
This adventurer's guild styles itself as the utmost elite that the city has to offer. Membership is by invitation only, which is extended only to proven veterans of other guilds. They are unpopular with other guilds for being arrogant poachers but they're popular with employers who have the coin to spare to hire the guild that never fails.

Vault Busters
Once the city's unofficial thieves' guild, now an organization that specializes in retrieving items or dealing with ancient ruins. They are a very small guild but their expertise in traps and locking mechanisms makes them almost indispensable for archaeological expeditions in the country.

Vigil
Simply put, an adventurer's guild that specializes in security, bodyguards, and escorting cargo. Many nobles and merchants hire Vigil guards to secure their homes and places of business.

The Wild Hawks
Your typical "average" adventurer's guild, full of decently skilled and professional members with something of a mischievous streak. There are dozens, possibly hundreds of guilds that closely resemble the Hawks in the city, but this one is the largest and most successful of them.

This has nothing to do with Anima, but we mentioned it briefly yesterday in the context of scary bears.

Five Nights at Freddy's.

Watch the first part of a playthrough of a guy called Markiplier here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOztnsBPrAA

Also watch the rest of the series if you want to. It's fun in the sense that you get to see a grown man go babbling with terror.

What you need to understand about the apocalypse is that you aren't Mad Max. You're part of the skull pyramid in the background.

I don't have much experience with jrpg's, so I'm drawing more on tv shows and movies I've seen. And these are a couple of the more memorable NPC's that came up Smile

Scientist/researcher, a bit in the style of Abby Sciuto from NCIS.

Steampunk tinkerer/inventor, in the style of Seamus Zelazny Harper. Aka, a bit weasly acting and looking, but actually quite competent.

A bit more newfangled, crack sniper like Sato from Ghost in the Shell SAC

RE: Wednesday Anima
Updates. Changes for Teddy are...
* Significantly more health in base form
* Slightly improved stats
* Mega Teddy has slightly improved stats
* Mega Teddy's natural armor now also works against Energy attacks
* Mega Teddy now costs slightly more zeon to maintain

Teddy

Str 2
Dex 6
Agi 5
Con 2
Int 9
Pow 9
Will 8
Per 7

Intimidate +20
Theft +60
Stealth +60
Notice +60
Search +40
Sleight of Hand +20
Magic Appraisal +100

Size: Small, like a real teddybear
Actions per round: 2
Health: 140
Initiative: equal to its master's
Resistance: equal to its master's
Magic Projection: +70
Spells of Darkness:
* Create Darkness
* Induce Fear
* See in Darkness
* Shield of Darkness
* Shadow
* Armor of Darkness
* Banish Light
* Hide Magic

Note that Teddy can't gather zeon on its own and requires its master to donate some of hers in order to cast any of these spells. Teddy will still use its own Magic Projection stat though, not its master’s.

Special:
* Can only exist up to 300 feet away from its master.
* Can fly with a movement value of 6. (This is about average walking speed for a person in decent shape.)
* Can see in the dark.
* While concealed in the shadows, become invisible to anyone unable to see spirits.
* Any person in contact with Teddy gains +40 Stealth and the Ki Concealment ability.

Mega Teddy

This transformation costs 150 zeon to activate and another 30 zeon per round to maintain it. Transforming counts as one of the bear's actions for that round. Ignore all previous stats and replace with the following.

Str 12
Dex 8
Agi 6
Con 9
Int 4
Pow 9
Will 6
Per 5

Intimidate +55
Climb +45
Jump +60
Swim +45
Notice +50
Search +20
Dance +35
Feats of Strength +135

Size: Big, about twice the height of a grown man
Actions per round: 2
Health: 400
Armor: 4 for all types
Initiative: equal to its master's
Resistance: equal to its master's, but with an additional +20 for Physical Resistance.

Attack: Claw +180
Defense: Block +170
Damage: Claw 100

Special:
* Can only exist up to 300 feet away from its master.
* Can see in the dark.
* Has inhumanity, which allows it to perform certain tasks that mortals can't.
* Can Block attacks aimed at its master with a -10 penalty, provided its master is close by.

What you need to understand about the apocalypse is that you aren't Mad Max. You're part of the skull pyramid in the background.
