Well, I've got a bit of an internal struggle...

Bioshock Infinite's out. And I've been looking forward to that game for half a year ;P

So...?

What you need to understand about the apocalypse is that you aren't Mad Max. You're part of the skull pyramid in the background.

To be honest, I've found myself not really interested in playing either Tera, WoW or any other mmorpg lately. I think it's because I've been feeling like I've got no spare time to speak of, with every evening having something penciled in.

Consider me out :/

I've been following the development of this game for a while, and I rather like the style of it at least.

The Neverwinter MMO is now out in free and open beta (translation: it's free but still buggy). Tried it a little bit, liked it well enough. It strikes a happy medium between action-mmo and D&D 4e. Maybe an idea for peeps to try this out for a while, especially together as a party?

Yay. So does Fairgrey. Wink

I recommend you join up the rpgnet chat (just type /join rpgnet) because that's a friendly bunch and it's also where we hang out. I also recommend you kill the zone chat by pressing alt, clicking on the little gearwheel icon in the corner of the chat window, and unselecting Zone. Otherwise you go fucking crazy trying to play Neverwinter. Smile

RE: Mummorpeger Plans
Ok so this is not quite an MMO, but still. There's a game called Guns of Icarus. Check out the trailer here:

Basically, it's a world of sky ships and you play in teams of 4 people, trying to pilot and control the thing. Issue is that nothing is automated - if you want to fire a cannon, one of the team must walk over to it and use it. And there's way more chaos and options than four people can handle, so hilarity ensues.

To get a better sense of what the game plays like, check out this video:

(Skip ahead to 5 minutes to go past the introductions of the teams, although they're funny enough to watch if you ask me.)

Anyway, until may 22nd it's half off on Steam. There's also a package deal that allows you to get 4 copies for $21 total, so about five bucks per copy and there's no subscription fees.

Is there any interest? I think it can be fantastic if a bunch of us team up, get on skype, and then sail on a freaking skyship and flail about the skies while taking fire. Five bucks sounds like a very low price of entry for the kind of fun this could be. Smile (But remember, the deal ends on the 22nd so let me know quickly if you want in.)

What you need to understand about the apocalypse is that you aren't Mad Max. You're part of the skull pyramid in the background.
