Mummorpeger Plans
So, Wolf, Robin, and me have been playing some World of Warcraft together every other Tuesday evening. But that's come to an end and we're exploring free-to-play alternatives.

I've decided to put this thread here so we can easily share options and ideas, but also so others can take a look. If someone else wants to join in on those evenings I'm certainly not going to stop them.

So, gentlemen, any suggestions?

Star Trek Online.

Dunno. I'm hoping for Robin to chime in on games and/or available days.

Nah. Me and Robin looked at it a bit but it's really not a strong contender.

Realm of the Mad God, hahaha nee Tongue

What you need to understand about the apocalypse is that you aren't Mad Max. You're part of the skull pyramid in the background.

Wat mij betreft zeker wel, the more the louder the discussions Wink

I rather like Tera (despite the creepy little loli race). It's got a nice visual style and the violence feels pretty meaty.

Tip: when you first play a character they offer a sort of "tutorial" run. But it's not really good and doesn't present the classes well at all. Healers, tanks, and DPS alike are just thrown into a confusing scenario that doesn't show their relative strengths. So I'd recommend skipping it actually.

As Mel and I just found out: if you're going to download and install Tera, make sure you get the European version. The generic .com version is US and it will mean you get more lag and can't join the EU servers.

So this ought to be started tomorrow, in theory. But I imagine it's not coming to that?
