Ye Schoole of Olde: AD&D Adventurers

Someone mentioned Saturday, September 22nd, from 1300 to 0100.

Saturdays before 20:00 are generally bad for yours truly.

Seppe kan dan ook niet al te vroeg, en komt vanaf 17:00 deze kant op. Toch wil ik eerder al alle chars af hebben en beginnen zodra het grootste deel er is.

18:00 beginnen, 20:00 schuift Ot aan? Mensen die wat eerder willen komen zijn welkom vanaf 15:00 voor CharGen etc.

Ik ben bezig de weekenddienst die ik dan heb weg te ruilen. Overigens is het een 'korte weekenddienst', wat inhoud dat als het werk af is, ik naar huis kan. Vorige keer was dit rond een uur of drie ipv vijf. Ik heb de dag erna wel weer dienst, dus mijn wekker gaat om 6 uur. Tot 1 uur doorspelen is niet relaxed, zeker ook omdat ik dan niet meer thuiskom.

Wat is het idee? Zetten we onze oude characters om in second; maken we geheel nieuwe? Spelen we met de core rules inclusief gedifferentieerde XP etc?

Okee, we spelen vanaf vier pers. aanwezig (+/-18:00) tot trein. (+/-23:00?)
Qua eten laten we een patatje of pizzatje bezorgen, zodat dat niet te veel tijd in neemt.

Het is iets korter dan ik eigenlijk wil, maar daar is niet heel veel aan te doen. Misschien als Seppe toch eerder weg wil, omdt het anders toch erg kort slapen is, gaat de rest nog even door met -1.

Qua chars is iedereen vrij om het zelfde character om te zetten, of om in overleg met mij iets anders te bouwen. Het verhaal gaat gewoon verder waar we waren.

Dat is prima. Voor de anderen die daar misschien over na willen denken: Voor Clerics van specific Mythos gebruiken we de Birthright godenlijst, omdat die toch erg toegankelijk en bij mij bekend is.

I suspect the answer to your goblin question is "no", but just the same I will provide here the mechanical effects of being a goblin:

-1 Strength
-1 Charisma
Can only be Fighter (up to level 10), Cleric (up to level 9), and Thief (up to level 12)
Infravision of 60'
-1 penalty to attack rolls while in bright sunshine

Also, class restrictions and level caps are extremely low on fun and can be optionally dismissed on a case by case basis.

Ik ben beschikbaar voor CharGen komende vrijdag vóór Arik's kargezelligverjaardag ding. Misschien kan er dan ook wel een Wraith char uitgepoept worden. ^_^

Whoa, and I actually forgot an important goblin advantage!

They can also detect new or unusual stonework underground with a 25% success rate. So, hey, not so shabby anymore!

Een paar redenen:
* Nostalgie.
* Het gegeven dat de DM té vaak third heeft gedaan voor zijn comfort.
* Sommigen hebben nooit second gedaan en willen het proberen.
* Spellcasters in third zijn nog achterlijker overpowered dan in second.

Mensen zijn welkom vanaf ongeveer half 4, er moeten ook nog wat boodschapjes gedaan worden, dat kunnen de mensen dan doen die hun chars al af hebben.

Als er iemand charsheets kan regelen, des te beter.

We hadden besproken dat er misschien een mogelijkheid was op zondag 11, maar er is een ander spelletje die dag. Verder wil ik graag de vrijdagen nog onderzoeken.

We moeten ook beseffen dat het misschien niet lukt om iedereen altijd aanwezig te hebben... :S
