SC2 LAN?
True... but can the two be combined? And there's no need to play SC2 nonstop, I mean, there's only so many exploding Zerg you can handle per hour Tongue And Goldy won't be there the whole afternoon either, as he has plans, so it's okay to take a break from playing every once in a while ^^

Take a 'break' playing SC by playing GG3? Some concept of leisure you have...

Yep... It includes watching other people struggle to play SC2 and offering 'advice' from the sidelines without actually knowing much about it ^_^

Gwen most definitely is welcome Grin
Also: I'll take care of lunch (breadoids), diner (chili con carne; no vegetarians present, right?) and possibly dessert (don't know yet). Please bring your own beverage of choice. Or swing by the appie on your way/during a lull, as it's only minutes away ^_^ We have water, tea and coffee, but nothing else for general consumption.
Set up is either Friday evening till about 23.00 or Saturday morning after 10; we're hoping to start at noon, finish whenever. Mark said something about trying to see if he could hook up one of the computers to our tv, for better cheering-from-the-sidelines Grin Also: I think he mentioned something about cables, in case wifi doesn't hack it, but maybe he'd better post on that himself?!
We have one screen available that is currently not in use, and one full computer set that will run SC2, so not everyone need lug (a full set of) stuff over I think. But please call dibs before we end up with no-one bringing a computer ^_^
Also, re food, I'm getting stuff for 6 people (arik, jeroen, mark, mel, ot, me), right? (I'm not counting Gwen for chili Tongue )

My computer also has SC2 installed and has pretty decent specs, even though I myself only have the starter account (meaning, my computer can do SC2 even though I myself cannot). Do people require its presence?

I think there will be only three active players (Jeroen, Mel en Mark), and Jeroen is already planning to bring his computer over (right?), and we have two computers capable of playing here, so I think we're good... Jeroen is out for a bit during the afternoon, and Mel has another game he has to tend to for a bit in the afternoon, so there will be a computer available occasionally for you to join in and show your skillz at protoss management Tongue
Also, with only five people around, I might make a bit more work of dinner and dessert. (yes, this is a subtle dig in the line of 'look what you'll be missing out on')

I'm currently updating SC2 (didn't play it in a while, so it requires patching)

I'll come over after 10 to install my shizzle.

As for cables, damn I need to dust some stuff off. Haven't used those in over 6 years to get internet access o_O

If you've got a network card, Mark says wifi should be fine. It's only three computers, it should hack it. Apparently the cable was needed to hook up a computer to the tv for better viewing Smile
See you in a bit! Grin

Update: 2 computers now set up. One more and we're all systems go Grin

Compromise was easy, this time: said housemates are game designers.
