Er blijkt een hele community te zijn die zich bezig houd met nieuwe user interface technieken, vooral gericht op multitouch tafels en andere schermen. http://nuigroup.com/

Het nadeel van veel wat er daar gebeurd is dat de tafels/schermen vaak vrij dik worden, omdat de beamers en camera's die gebruikt worden een vrij grote afstand nodig hebben tussen tafel en projector/camera.

Maar ik kwam vandaag wel dit tegen: http://nuigroup.com/forums/viewthread/10316/ Een thread over een applied science project van een gelijknamige afdeling binnen Microsoft. http://www.microsoft.com/appliedsciences...wedge.aspx is de link naar hun project pagina.

Iets verder op kwam ik een blog tegen van iemand die de theorie achter die wedge schermen heeft toegepast op een doe-het-zelf schermpje. http://pendingfuture.blogspot.com/

Hiermee moet het mogelijk zijn een verplaatsbare tafel te bouwen die te gebruiken is voor een boel leuke en geeky dingen Grin
