It's decided. Mostly just now by me, but after some discussion with others.

In September 2010 we will start a new, probably bi-weekly, 4th edition Darksun campaign.

This campaign will probably be played on either Wednesday or Tuesday, 19.00 to 23.00

This campaign will be created by either Ben, Jelte or Arik. Other applications are possible.

This campaign will have 3 to 5 players, as decided by the DM

Applications can be filed in this topic.
Be sure to add a current resume, good references, maybe a letter of recommendation and a good motivation as to why you should be a good addition to the team. Don't forget to mention whether you want to be player or DM, and which day would be preferable.
Once a DM has been decided, the player applications will be reviewed.

If you're applying for the DM position, please add what this will entail for your current campaign(s)

If there are other suggestions we will gladly review them.

In this topic, all things about the game(s) I run that are set in my personal fictional setting, the east coast city of New Babylon. First came a short lived Mage: the Awakening game set in that bleak metropolis (now defunct), soon we'll have a sporadic Vampire: the Requiem game as well. Time and creativity permitting I'll post a description of a location, personality, feature, or urban legend every now and then. The free mapping software I downloaded so far manages to be fiendishly hard to learn on my own, so a map of the city is not something you should hold your breath for.

... Cuz let's face it, if I called it the Vanguard of Justice campaign, how many would recognize it as our game?! ...

Anyway, thing is, next playdate should be 13th, but Scroipt and I can't make it due to birthday of Scroipt's dad. So, we could either
a. play afternoon rather than evening, say 13.00-17.00, no food
b. play Saturday 12th, either afternoon or evening or both (megasession! Yay!)

Grimm

I've decided to venture on the danger-ridden path of GM, so I've found this fun RPG called Grimm - The Roleplaying Game. Now I need some victi- I mean volunteers to play along. Please note: I have no GM'ing experience whatsoever, so what I really need is some experienced players who'll humour me and not mind being railroaded for a bit while I try and get my GM'ing working.
Grimm is based on a d6 system, as far as I can tell, and all characters are children between the age of 9 and 12. You end up in a world that is basically the Grimm Tales Gone Wrong.
I've called in the help of Belphanior to teach me some GM'ing tricks, so I will put in time and effort into making a good impression, in case intentions count for something...
I'd like to have a single try-out session for starters, sometime in either March or April. Most likely either a Thursday, Friday or Saturday evening.
Who's game?

Overall I'm quite pleased. The "raw" 4e is good, but very strongly focused. But we're getting more info on monsters, races, and classes alike. The warforged needed their components. The wizard was really low on illusions, compered to older editions. And so far none of it looks like it's stronger than the core books, just different. Because we all know how that can work out.

Ever heard of Megumi Hayashibara? No? Well, chances are you still heard from her.

She provided the (Japanese) voices of:

In here will go all the collected info, resources, whatever for the Anima game.

To start things off, some inspiration about what magic can look like from the Nanoha anime series (which, in case you're curious, is essentially a series about cute magical girls... who blast the everloving shit out of eachother). Watching in high quality is recommended. Particularly note the magic circles that gather when powerful spells are cast.
